Wishful thinking
This weekend Edith and I were running around a graveyard getting wiggles out while we waited for church to be over, and I suggested to her that gravestones could be a source of inspiration for baby names. She found this intriguing and picked out an old, soft white stone with minimal writing.
"I want this to be my sister's name," she said. "What does it say?"
"At Rest."
In a few months I'm sure Edith will wish often that her sister were At Rest.
The graveyard was at Tom's family church in Delaware (such that I think we have a good last name option taken from the gravestones!), where we were attending his cousin's wedding, the first wedding at which Tom has helped officiate. More pictures and details to come.
