Katie and Eric's wedding
We wish every happiness to Tom's cousin, Katie, and her new husband, Eric. It was a lovely wedding, and the preschool set enjoyed it as much as any.
At the rehearsal dinner with Aunt Janet and Cousin Maggie, birthday girl
Mom-mom read the three year olds their bedtime stories, while the big girls read their own stories together.
Wedding day! With Cousin Kim on the church steps. Fortunately we didn't get the downpour that was forecast, but the wind was brisk.
Cousins wait for the ceremony to begin
Sure, it's a handsome line-up of groomsmen, but what about that dapper minister in the background?
More waiting around during photos after the ceremony, first reading in the car out of the wind. (For the record, Edith's Grandpa Jack has no tattoos that we know of...)
Edith, however, was most taken with the wedding cake--and kept darting over to the corner to look at it. Shortly after it had been cut Tom and I headed out to the floor for a dance. Edith saw her chance, went over to a waiter, and boldly asked for a piece, which we found her consuming with glee when we returned to the table.
So much for a nice updated picture of the five Lank cousins--despite a rapid-fire shutter, the designated silly shot was the best one I got.

that sucking thumb in a tux pic is a classic!
Weddings are so much fun! And I love the pumpkins for decorations...especially the one with their initials!
