Some early photos

Well, so far "between the dark and the daylight" is an apt description of life with Alice. A post from the night desk:

One day old

Sisters' first meeting

With Katherine Erbe, the midwife who delivered Alice

With Mom-mom

With Pop-pop

They released us from the hospital, and we made straight for the preschool Christmas pageant, complete with the rabbit at the manger.

Edith with Ms. Chrissy, Mommy, and Baby Sister

Alice's first outpatient check-up, with a fine team of pediatricians (all have at least three months education in letters A-K and full potty training)

At home

Well, our congregation hasn't had a baby around in a long time. We had Gwen before Advent really started and I have only just gone back to church this week and Bill didn't do a sermon...Christmas play instead and also the health emergency. I don't know what he plans for this Sunday...and I suspect he doesn't either.
