Sunday conversations
Puhleeze, Daddy
Tom: "Oooh, Edie, I'm dancing...dancing...Want to dance with me?"
Edith: "Daddy. There's no music."
Doh.
Puhleeze, Mommy
Edith, picking up a yogurt lid: "Trash."
Gretchen, reading the fine print that says with ten lids you can get a free chocolate bar: "No, it's not. Give that to me, Edith. I want to save it."
Edith: "Mommy, you save trash?"
And just in case I didn't get the idea:
"Mommy, you make me crazy."
Edith's Secret Life
Watching a little girl and boy with their mother, observing that they have the same mother.
Gretchen: "Yes, because they're brother and sister. You don't have any brothers and sisters."
Edith: "But that's okay, because I have husbands."

Hee! That's one precocious kid you've got there. :) Is "you make me crazy" from a book she knows?
And, I'm happy to see Winnie-the-Pooh has made Edith's reading list. Good stuff.
