Marching
Alice's "Bye!" is ardent these days; her driving needs a bit more work. But ever resourceful, she finds an alternative. (Sorry about the video quality--not sure what was up.)

Edith meanwhile held a protest march that she and Mor-mor had planned during a visit a couple of weeks ago. Mor-mor presented Edith with a new horse for her collection, a lovely white mare that they named Silk. Unfortunately Golden, an older brown mare who is queen of the horse kingdom, was jealous and treated Silk unkindly. So Edith concocted a plan for a protest march, complete with signs she devised. Because if you were jealous and acting poorly, wouldn't you respond to a mass demonstration of people in the streets calling you out on it? On the other hand, it's an admirably nonviolent alternative to ordering your royal hunstman to take the offending party into the woods and return with her heart in a box...

Rumor has it that Silk and Golden have held private talks, and prospects are good for future relations.

Hilarious! But also a tiny bit heartbreaking, in anticipation of those junior high days when someone is always "beautifuler" than someone else, and it does matter very much.
oh my gosh!! brilliant! sounds like she would fit in very well out here in California... she could attend protest rallies once a week!
