Summertime at school

Since she's planning a run for president, Edith decided she better take a cue from Barack Obama and get to work on her bowling skills early:



After a morning at the bowling lanes, Edith and her classmates enjoyed a special treat: lunch at their teacher's house.



On an earlier day this summer, they decided to be circus clowns for the day, wearing big shoes, jumping through hoops, climbing to death-defying heights (the top of the stepladder) and jumping (holding teachers' hands) into the tiny pool below (filled with pillows). Hopefully this particular shot of the kids after they'd applied their clown makeup won't be taken out of context and used in an attack ad about racial politics during Edith's campaign. Who would do that with such cute kids?
