Home sweet home?
Edith wants a cat. To have a cat, Edith's family must own its home. Edith is small but determined. She reads up. She shares what she learns. She pesters. She pleads. She paints grand images.
At age nine, Edith will move into her sixth home--the first one her parents own. Looks like we are finally buying into the American dream.
There may have been other factors in play, too. No promises about the cat. Here goes nothing.

Hooray and congrats!!! P.S. Does Edith know just how allergic her mom is to cats . . . or is that part of the attraction for her? Still, way to go!!
Wow -- place looks amazing! Gorgeous, and big! Congratulations, and good luck with the process! :)
RLB, I feel sheepish about how big it is. That's the funny thing about the Philadelphia vs. suburbs divide: Three blocks away in the suburban school district where we currently live, there's nothing at all in our price range. Cross the line, and you get much more house than you need.
It's beautiful! Good luck, and I hope you don't have to move again for a long while!
Congrats!!
