What happened to my preschooler?

Alice insists these days that she wants to stop aging at 6, because she never wants to be one of those "big, scary teenagers." I'm looking at the four-year-old iteration and am already a bit alarmed. My sister-in-law started reading on the topic when her daughter was born, but I'm behind: What do I need to know about parenting adolescent girls??

Probably the first thing to remember is that most adolescent girls can't be expected to willingly embrace their grandmothers' fashion picks.... Still, I'm glad the stuff got there and appears to fit(?). (Teenagers ARE big and scary, but God in his mercy eventually turns them into fearful little adults, so just hang on.)
