The hand that rocks the cradle...

...has gotten more vigorous. Today we learned that Edith is not simply rocking the other children at daycare back and forth in their cribs but is actually pushing them around the room while they sleep. In the last week she has taken to pushing our chairs at home around the house, using them as walkers (undoubtedly to the distress of our downstairs neighbors). In fact, she's trying everything she pulls up on now to see if it will move when she pushes. The cribs at daycare are miniature-sized and have wheels; they're perfect for the cause. Edith's teacher told us that they have started wedging the cribs into place against the wall with a heavy chair so Edith can't pull them out and leave them in the middle of the room, like she did last Friday. I'm having images of some summer camp movie where the counselor wakes up to find his bed floating on a dock in the middle of the lake.

Good for her! Amazon baby.
BTW, how do I get to your Bad Mama bulletin board?
Strong kid! That will be handy when you move in the future and need more labor.
